Party Pasta Salad
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil leaves
Finely chopped garlic to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pound pasta, cooked according to package directions and drained
1 tomato, peeled, seeded and diced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pitted black olives
Lettuce leaves
The best part of this recipe is you can make just the pasta salad and take it to a summer cookout or picnic, or just make it a meal of its own.
